|17 years later.

So 17 years ago today I was baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It was a pretty lifechanging day I'd say.|
In those 17 years I have been ALL OVER the board of where I stood with the church. I was quite the zealot for a few years, other years I was hanging by a thread and sometimes even broke that thread and ran the opposite direction.
I'd like to proudly state that today, 17 years later, I can actually remember that feeling I had the day I was fully immersed in the waters of baptism by my father. It was a wonderful day, and I felt like i could handle anything. Even today, I have the same testimony I did as a young girl. I know that the church is true, and I know that God speaks revelation unto those who seek it. I believe that there is only one true church on the face of the earth and that it is Headed by a man appointed by the Lord, himself. I know that the boy Joseph Smith truly begun the restoration of this Gospel and without him, it would not exist today.
I am so grateful for my membership in such a strong, immovable religion. I am so excited to serve a full-time mission and devote 18 months of my life to building up the saints, and redeeming souls. I cannot wait to serve and meet the wonderful people that will leave life long impressions on me.
